I'm honored to give this speech. With the development of society and economy, the number of private cars is increasing at a surprising speed. In order to protect our environment, it is high time that we should go green.

Firstly, we should raise people's awareness of the importance of going green. Secondly, using public transportation or riding bicycles instead of using cars can make a great difference to the problem. What's more, we should take full advantage of water, electricity, paper, food and so on. Last but not least, it is a good idea to classify rubbish and recycle it in our daily life.

写作文时，不会写的单词短语就不要写，换一个角度去想这个单词。举一个简单的例子，有一个同学想在作文中表达“学费”的意思，但是他不会这个单词，于是写下了“the prise of study”。当“学费”这个单词我们不会写的时候，我们可以换一个角度去想，学费是“为了教育而付的钱”，所以学费可以表达为"the money for education"。
