list的用法

list用作名词时，有目录，明细表，清单等含义。list也可用作动词，有，把…编入名单 ，把…列入一览表，登记等含义。

1.list用作名词时，其意思是“一览表,目录,名单,清单”,是可数名词,常用于a list of短语中。

He wrote down his name on the list.

他将他的名字写在清单上。

Can you give me a price list with specification?

你能否给我一份有规格说明的价目单吗？

2.list用作动词时,其意思是“列出,列入,把…编列成表”“编…目录”“登记”,是及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语。也可接以as短语充当补足语的复合宾语。

3.list也可作“向一侧倾斜”解,是不及物动词。

We were asked to list our ten favourite songs.

我们应要求列出自己最喜爱的十首歌曲。

He listed all the things he had to do.

他把自己必须做的事列成表。

As they climbed into the dinghy, it began to list violently.

当他们登上救生艇时，救生艇开始剧烈地倾斜。

4.in the list of, on the list of

两者都可作“在…名单上”解。其区别仅在于in the list of是英式英语,而on the list of是美式英语。
